You see many people shunning away from you, some walked past you pretending you're invisible, some facial expression changes from smiling while looking at the phone to a straight "smelly face" upon your approach. Or how about "talk to my hand" gesture? 😟
I know it's just volunteer works but these people, many of them elderlies, braced themselves for such reactions from people they had not met before, trying to gather their voice together to speak up and ask for a small donation. Just to help the unfortunate. Have YOU done it before? If this is a job and you have to do it to have rice on your table at the end of the day, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL if you're shown those gestures of reactions?
I must salute these wonderful and kindhearted volunteers who give up their time on their weekend to help the needy! 💪 Treat people how you would want to be treated and have respect for everyone. 👍☺️
